Mrs. Mary Veronica Nolan Higgins, wife of John C. Higgins died this morning at 8 o'clock at her home, 99 Round Lake avenue, following a short illness.
Mrs. Higgins was a well known and most highly respected resident of Mechanicville, having resided here for the past thirty years. She was born in Hoosick Falls. She was a member of St. Paul's church of this city.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, John Joseph; three sisters, Mrs. Lucy McGuire of Scotia, and Mrs. Helen Foley and Miss Kathleen Nolan of this city; three brothers, Dennis Nolan of Green Island, and Michael and Joseph Nolan of Mechanicville.
The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the late residence, and at 9:30 o'clock at St. Paul's church. Burial will be made in St. Paul's cemetery.
