Scottie Cora Casey, 93 year old Warner resident died peacefully Friday, February 12, 2010 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was born on Friday, May 26, 1916 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma to William and Cora Kellam Collins. Scottie grew up in Webbers Falls where she received her education, graduating from Webbers Falls High School. After high school she attended one year of college in Arizona. She met, fell in love, and later married Glen Casey in Walters, Oklahoma in 1937. She became a homemaker. Scottie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Warner since 1982 where she was a faithful choir member. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Five Sisters, and a Brother; Her Husband, Glen Casey; A Daughter, Glenda Sue Petrini, & a Son, Glen Casey, Jr. Scottie is lovingly survived by her Granddaughter, Linda Chilton and her husband Thad, Son-in-law, Bill Petrini; Three great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Madeline, & John Chilton all of Maine. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family and a host of friends. Viewing will be held 9am-8pm on Thursday, February 18, 2010 with the family greeting friends from 5pm-7pm at Garrett Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 19, 2010, First Baptist Church of Warner with Reverend Todd Pack, officiating. Committal prayers and Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2010 in Ft Gibson National Cemetery. The family of Scottie Casey entrusted her care and services to John & Kim Garrett of Garrett Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
