She was born in Chicago Oct 19, 1880; the daughter the daughter of Swedish immigrants Peter A and Anna (Anderson) Kihlstrom. In her youth, she was a member of Austin Baptist Church, and in later years a member of Genoa City Bible Church in WI. She was married to Hartwick Bye on the 23rd of October 1901 in Chicago, IL. To this union, the couple was blessed with 3 children: daughter Mrs. Gladys M (Bye) Lane, and sons Russell and Stanley Bye – and 9 grandchildren.
