Hiram Naracong and Miss Anna Bearss were married Wednesday at the residence of the bride's mother at Foots Corners. The Rev. Mr. Arnold of Scottsburg and the Rev. Mr. Bristol officiated. The young people have the best wishes of their many friends in this community.

Hiram Naracong passed away at his home Thursday afternoon, June 10, after a short illness. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Anna Bearss Naracong, and one daughter, Ruby, also one sister, Bertha Naracong, of Cohocton. Mr. Naracong had been an active member of the Methodist church most of his life. The funeral services were held Saturday at 2 o'clock from the home, the Rev. J. E. Hayes officiating. Interment was in Alger cemetery.

The funeral services were held Saturday at 2 o'clock from the home, the Rev. J. E. Hayes officiating. Interment was in Alger Cemetery.
