Livingston, Mont., April 9.
Dwight M. Allen, aged 80 years, died at the home of his son, George Allen, on the upper Yellowstone, last Thursday afternoon. The funeral was held Saturday from the residence. The interment took place in the Shorthill cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. W. Edmondson. Mrs. Allen was in the east at the time of the death of her husband and was unable to reach this city in time for the funeral. The dead man was one of the old-timers of this county and a man highly respected by his every acquaintance. His death is greatly regretted.
