Orlando Prince

BEDFORD Orlando Prince, 75, of Heltonville, died Friday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born July 14, 1906, in Monroe County, he was the son of Henry and Eliza (Cracraft) Prince.

He was a retired quarry worker and farmer. He was a member of the Donica Memorial Church of God in Donica.

Survivors include his wife, Goldie (Deckard); one son, Vernon Eugene Prince of Fairland; three daughters, Nina Reynolds of Bedford, Colleen Vaught of Gary, and Rebecca Keithley of Heltonville; one brother, Earl Prince of Heltonville; one sister, Lena Southern of Heltonville; 10 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandsons; a great-granddaughter; three sisters; and four brothers.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford with the Revs. Lewis Merschon and Clifford McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in Henson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Sunday.
