Marion O. Cain, 94, of Eldon died Wednesday, June 4, 1986 at Eldon Skilled Care Center.

Mr. Cain was born Aug 19, 1891, in Callaway County to Phillip and Mary Harrison Cain. He was married Aug 30, 1933, in Vienna to Lilly Seaton, who survives at the home.

He was a veteran of World War I, serving in the U.S. Army and was a life and charter member of Eldon VFW Post 2442. He also was a member of the Eldon First Baptist Church. He worked for the Eldon school system more than 15 years before he retired.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Clyde Cain of Eldon and Lloyd Cain of Gravois Mills; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Eldon City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
