Mrs. Genevieve Millwee Currie, age 90, of Kennard, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was born August 18, 1923 in Kennard and had lived all of her lifetime in Kennard. Mrs. Currie was a homemaker, a pianist for many churches through the years and was a member of the Center Hill Methodist Church. She loved God, music, her family and all her critters.
Preceded in death by husband, Marvin Currie; parents, Howard and Miranda Millwee; sister, Odie Mae Beard and one baby brother.
Funeral services for Mrs. Genevieve Millwee Currie will be held Sunday, June 22, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Center Hill Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Jim English Cemetery,
