Woodruff - Alvin Nicholas (Nick) Stroud, 25, of Enoree Route 1 was dead on arrival at Woodruff Hospital following a traffic accident on Secondary Road 118 about 12:30 a. am. Sunday.
Mr. Stroud was an employee of Riverdale Mill in Enoree and a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church. He was a son of Mrs. Annie Belle Stroud Gwinn of Enoree Route 1.
Surviving are; his wife, Mrs. Evelyn Crowe Stroud; stepfather, Robert Gwinn; two sons, Terry Wayne and Joseph Alvin, both of the home; one daughter, Sharon Stroud of the home; one half-brother, Stanley Gwinn of Enoree Route 1; maternal grandfather, Ed Stroud of Enoree Route 1.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 4 p. m. at Cedar Shoals Baptist Church by the Rev. William Myers and Robert Edwards, Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers are; Ray and Earl Morrow, Lindy and Dwight Crowe, Cortez Williams and L. P. Gwinn Jr.
The body is at the home and will be taken to the church today at 3 p. m.
