Englebert came to America with his parents in 1867 and they settled in Lincoln, Texas. As did his father he was a farmer all his life. He lived 56 of his 87 years in Lincoln. Cause of death was pneumonia brought on by influenza and old age
He also had one brother, Otto M and a sister, Alma
