Funeral services for Thomas Gray, 79, 1861 Fourth East street, retired miner, who died Tuesday in a Salt Lake hospital of a heart ailment, will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Belvedere LDS ward chapel, 607 Downington avenue.
Mr. Gray was born at the old Bear River crossing in Wyoming while his patents were en route to Utah. He arrived in Sal Lake City when he was 3 days old. He was a high priest in the LDS church.
Surviving are five sons, Roy, Clifford, Leo and Raymond, Salt Lake City, and Robert Gray, San Francisco, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Irene Lamont, Salt Lake City; a brother, Robert Gray, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Worthen, Salt Lake City, and Mrs. Johanna Worthen, Los Angeles, Cal., and 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Joseph William Taylor mortuary, 125 North Main Downington avenue Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in salt Lake City cemetery.
