Mr. Haman, son of the late Samuel Henry and Angeline Stauffacher Haman, was born August 15, 1877, on the Haman home farm east of Monroe. He attended rural school. As a young man, he was employed as watchman in a Dubuque plant and later was a railroad policeman in Chicago. During World War II he was employed at the Wurzler Plant in DeKalb.
Survivors include his wife Floy Haman, brother, George Haman; Juda, WI; three half-brothers, Howard, of Los Angeles, Eugene of Milwaukee, Karl of Portland, Ore., and a half-sister, Miss Theodora of Two Rivers. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jacob of McConnell, Rev. John of Portland, Walter of Monroe, and two sisters, Miss Lydia Haman and Mrs. Edward T. Kundert of Monroe.
Funeral arrangements are being made at DeKalb.
