Ann Devine Rush was an independent, working woman. She was very stylish and she enjoyed fabrics and fashions. She was a saleswoman for many years at Wiley's and then the George Innes Store in Wichita. For many years she had an apartment at 503 N Topeka in Wichita, but she spent a lot of time in Hutch with her family members, especially her nieces Lorena and Marie Brink, and her mother Mary Devine Brink. I never got to meet her, but I know she was a special auntie to my parents and grandparents.
