Ruthie King Callaway, of Fordyce, AR, formerly of Banks, AR, passed away January 31, 2010 at Dallas County Medical Center. She was born in Banks, AR on February 25, 1925 to the late Willis King and Amy Sessions King.
In addition to her late parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Lawrence Callaway who passed away in 1991; son-in-law- James Howard and a granddaughter- Reba Sue "Suzy" Howard; three sisters- Dorothy Boykin, Ruby Williams Golden, and Audrey Herron; sister-in-law- Annie Jones, who she loved and called her sister and nephew- Tim Clanton.
Survivors are two daughters; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in McFarland Cemetery at Banks by Frazer Funeral Home.
