Mrs. Zella M. Underwood, 68, of 126 S. Garfield St., died at 1:25 p.m. Monday after a lengthy illness. Born in Fleming County, Ky., she lived in Dayton 30 years and was a member of the East Dayton Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Surviving are her husband, Adam; a son, William S. Haney; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Johannes of Dayton, Mrs. Emma Dunn of Springfield, Mrs. Gladys Cobb of Little Rock, Ark., and Mrs. Hattie Henry of Mt. Sterling, Ky.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Charles W. Moore Funeral Home, 2206 W. Third St., with Rev. William E. Boyer and Rev. Harold H. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.

Friends may call at the funeral home after Wednesday noon until time of services.
