William Jinks of Maroa and Miss
Susie Bishop of Effingham were mar-
ried at Decatur Saturday afternoon.
The groom is a brother of Mrs. Rufus
Jones a mile North of town. The couple
have gone to housekeeping on the
Harve Peringer farm in Texas town-
ship.
They had 3 Children.

Mrs.Susie Jinks 68 of 3445
E.Division St. died at 6:20 a.m.
yesterday in St. Mayrs Hospital.
She had been ill about a month.
Mrs. Jinks had lived in Decatur
about 15 years coming here from
Effingham County.
She was born June 2 1887 in
Effingham County the daughter
of George Washington and Min-
nie Defenbaugh Bishop. She marr-
ied William Jinks Sept 26 1913
in Decatur.
She leaves her husband;three
sons, Edwin, Gaylord and Dale,
all of Decatur: a sister Mrs.Daisy
Ashbaugh of Effingham; three
brothers, Wilbur Bishop of Effing-
ham, Thomas Bishop of Altamont
and Ira Bishop of Decatur: five
grandchildren, and one step-grand
child.
One brother and three sisters
precided her in death.
Funeral services will be at 3
p. m. Monday in the J. J. Moran
and Sons Funeral Home with bur-
ial in Graceland Cemetery. Friends
may call at the funeral home after
1p. m. today.
