Mr. Harper, 48, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010 at his residence. The funeal service will be Sunday, Jan. 10 2010 at 3 PM in t he chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home. Rev. Jimmy Walden and Dr. Alex Howell officiating. Burial will follow in the Blakely Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday night at the funeral home from 6-8 PM.
Mr. Harper was born October 24, 1961 to the late Grady Holman Harper and his mother, Shelby Jean Jackson Hughes of Blakey, Ga. He was a farmer and was of Church of God Faith.
Mr. Harper is survived by his wife; Dale McMullen Harper of Blakely, "2 Sons" T.G. Floyd and Cannon Moseley of Blakely;Mother: Shelby Jean Jackson Hughes of Blakely, Step-Mother: Peggy Mote Harper of Blakely, 2 Sisters: a twin sister Mary Jean Taylor of Blakely and Gloria Ann Harper of Blakely, 1 Brother: Robert Harper of Blakely and 2 Step-Brothers: Gene Hughes and wife Brenda of Arlington and Pee Wee Hughes and wife Sherry of Blakely; 13 Nieces and Nephews and 4 Great-Nieces and Nephews.
