Linford Barker married Rachel Kernes June 19, 1937, in Watertown, Codington Co., South Dakota. Their sons are Richard and Stanley were born in Washington. Linford worked on construction of the Grand Coulee Dam.
The family later located in Pierce Co., Washington, where daughter, Patricia was added to the family.
Linford's son Gordon, serving the U. S. in World Ward II, was killed in service 1944 at the Battle of the Bulge.
