Son of Winneford [sic] [Carter Quinn] Connor (K-025-01); [assume husband of Frances Quinn (K-025-07)]

"27 U. S. C. I. [U.S. Colored Infantry]" [Verify that he served in the 27th, not the 17th, Regiment.] [For information on his life as a "free person of color," see Westwood: A Historical and Interpretive View of Oberlin's Cemetery, Oberlin, Ohio (Oberlin: Oberlin Historical and Improvement Organization, 1997). p. 25.]
