Thomas Adams Taken by Death, life long resident of the Exline comminity, died Sunday night at 10:40 o'clock at St. Joseph hospital where he had been a patient since Friday. He was 75 years, one month and six days of age and was born in Caldwell Township May 27, 1874, the son of Nathan and Mary Susan Adams. He was a retired farmer.

In death he leaves his wife Hazel and six daughters, Cecil Adams, of Des Moines; Mrs.J.S.Shiltz, of Prairie City, Iowa; Mrs. Robert Van Maren, of Des Moines; Mildred Adams, of West Palm Beach, Florida; Eva Adams, of Des Moines; Mrs. Burdeen Withrow, of Des Moines, and two sons, Virgil Adams, of Billings, Montana and Emmet Adams, of Sidney, Mont. There are four grandchildren. One brother, Bishop Adams, of Tryon, Oklahoma also surives.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Adams in 1936 and also a son, Roy, who died in 1922.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm from the Exline Christian Church with Elder E.E. Withrow officiating and burial will be in Exline cemetery.
