Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 21, 2005 at Newman Center, St. Cloud for Josephine A. Kaeter, age 76, of Sauk Rapids, who died Friday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home. Rev. Kevin Anderson will officiate and burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sauk Rapids.
Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Sunday at Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Josephine was born March 15, 1929 in Bowlus to Frank & Frances (Marshik) Trutwin. She married Daniel Kaeter on Oct. 2, 1947 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rice. Josephine was a homemaker and also worked in food service at St. Cloud State University. She was a member of Newman Center in St. Cloud and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids. Josephine loved music, she played the mandolin, violin, and piano. She loved her grandkids and great grandkids, and had a great sense of humor.
Survivors include her sons and daughters, Thomas (LuAnn) of Young America, Gerald (Claudia), Stephanie Haakonson, Rosalie, Ivan (Irene), Paul (Diane), and Faye (Tom) Madigan all of Sauk Rapids, Margo (Bruce) Rau of Clearwater, Karen Kaeter (Sarah Bates) of Venice, CA, Cherry (Tom) Keith of Bloomington, Roger of Sartell, and Rachel (Jay) Bodeker of Becker; sisters and brothers, Rita Kampa of Sauk Rapids, Victor (Karen) Trutwin of Rice, Joseph (Roseann) Trutwin of Naples, FL, Frano (Delrose) Trutwin of South Carolina, and Theresa Silvernail of Florida; fifteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel on Feb. 11, 1992; two infant sons; sisters, Mary Parent and Regina Brooks; brother, Claude Trutwin; and son in law, Paul Haakonson.
