(Obituary)

Naomi Arlene Lindberg, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gray Lindberg, passed away Saturday morning, May 23, following a weeks' illness.

Naomi was born in Sutton, Nebraska, January 28, 1924. June 22 of the same year she was baptized in the name of the Triune God and thus became a member of the Saronville Lutheran church (sic). She was a member of the Sunday Bible school and and (sic), just before her illness, completed her 7th grade work in the Saronville public schools. At the time of her death she was 12 years, 3 months and 25 days of age.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2 p.m. from the church with the pastor, the Rev. A. Walfred Anderson, in charge. Irene Anderson and Dale Hultine sang two duets, one at the home and the other at the church where a quartette composed of Mrs. Lloyd Hultine, Mrs. Clinton Peterson and Martin and Clarence Carlson sang two selections.

The pupils of Saronville school attended in a body, Herbert Peterson, Allen Livgren, Grant Holmes, Curtis Johnson, Lloyd Pentine, and Byron Alberts were pallbearers and Gloria Boline, Lois Hill, Arlene Leitner and Elaine Peterson served as flower girls.

The survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gray Lindberg, one sister and one brother, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Lindberg and many other relatives and friends. Interment was in the Lutheran cemetery.
