Born June 2, 1926, he had lived in Mitchell County all his life. He married Jessie Iglehart on January 4, 1946 in Westbrook. He was retired from Cosden Oil Co and was a member of Dorn Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jessie; two daughters, Dana Moody and Teresa Matlock, son-in- laws, Bobby Moody and Bobby Matlock of Colorado City; his mother, Mrs M. P. Dorn, three sisters, Mrs H P (Christinej Bell, Mrs. James L. (Lucile) Jairatt and Mrs. Jabe (Virginia) Whirley, one brother, M P Dom, Jr, of Coahoma; one grand-daughter and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother, Rev C C (Buck) Dom and his grandson, Kevin Blake Matlock.
