Sharon Dolores Ginn, 70, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Dec. 27, 2009.

She was born to Henry and Carrie Haugen on April 16, 1939 in Bruni. She loved to spend time with family, gardening, crossword puzzles and playing games of all kinds especially word games and cards.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son Charles "Andy" Ginn, her brother Henry T. Haugen, Jr. and her sister Lois M. Newman.

She is survived by her husband Leland of Wimberley, son Carl Ginn and his wife Elisa of Angleton, daughter Sandy Quintiliani and her husband Frank of Austin, son Clay Ginn of Lake City, CO; three grandsons, Joseph, Jason and Jared Quintiliani all of Austin and her brother Danny Haugen and his wife Sandra of Pleasanton.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the First Baptist Church in George West. Interment will follow in the George West Cemetery.

Memorial gifts can be made to the American Cancer Society or the George West Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 386, George West, TX 78022.
