Margaret Fitzpatrick was born about 1846 in Ireland, to parents unknown at this time. She came to America in 1860 and in 1869, she married Dennis Bradley (1864-1898), born in Ireland.
Dennis was the son of Michael Bradley (1793-1872) and Bridget Murray (1800-1883), both born in Ireland.
Dennis and Margaret settled in Cambria County, first in Washington Twp and later in Cresson. Dennis worked as a coal miner.
This couple had nine children, all born in Cambria County:
Ellen Bradley-McCool (1870-1950), Mary M. Bradley-Bradley-Delozier (1871-1950), Agnes Johanna Bradley-Leahey (1872-1948), John Bradley (1873-), Francis L. Bradley (1875-1955), James Bradley (1878-1896), Estella Bradley-Strobel (1880-1951), Mathilda Margaret Bradley-Wendell (1884-1964), and Edward Joseph Bradley (1884-1959).
In 1910 Margaret was listed as a widow living in Cresson. Her sons Frank and Edward were living with her, along with her daughter Mahilda, and were listed as farmers.
Margaret died Apr 16, 1912, and is buried in St. Brigid's cemetery with her husband.
