Charles Chamberlin Barrett, III was the first child of five children born to Charles Capron Barrett, Jr. and Lucy Chamberlin. Charles attended and graduated from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and for most of his life he was a Paint Chemist working for Sherwin Williams, Dutch Boy and Porter Paint Co. in Ohio, Washington state, California and Kentucky. Charles married his sweetheart Elizabeth 12 Jun 1939 in Cleveland, OH and were married for 54 years when mom died in 1993.
Dad played the piano and organ for 50+ years and was choir director also at churches we attended in Ohio, Washington state, California and Kentucky. He was able to play many selections including hymns and classical music from memory and was very well liked at the nursing facility where he lived for two years before his death.
