Roberta Ellen Tuck Abrams, 86, passed away peacefully, August 22, 2009, in Gig Harbor, Washington.

She was born March 3, 1923 in Caldwell, ID to Alberta Lucille Rogers and Clyde W. Wooley. She graduated from Wilder High School in 1941 and moved to California where she met and married Andrew Paul Tuck in 1943.

Roberta and Andrew settled in Reno, NV and Anderson, CA. Five children blessed this union: Robin Paul Tuck (Julia), David Tuck (Kathleen), Wally Tuck (Kathleen), Cheryl Cranney (Jerry), and Shelley Tuck. After the death of Andrew Paul Tuck in 1962, Roberta moved back to Boise, ID where she married Fredrick G. Abrams in Sept. 1965.

Roberta was an active member of the Broadway 12th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After Fred passed away, she faithfully served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Raleigh, NC. She enjoyed fishing, camping, sewing, tatting, and knitting, and serving in the Boise LDS Temple.

Roberta is survived by two sisters, five children, 24 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2009 at the LDS Chapel located at 1925 Broadway Ave., Boise, ID. Friends may call to visit with the family from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. at the church on Friday prior to the services.

Burial at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
