Phelps County Missouri - THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF JOHN J. BOERINGER; Book B, page 410-411, 31 May 1909
In the Name of God Amen:
I John J. Boeringer being of sound and disposing mind and memory and being desirous of disposing of my property while living do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. First: It is my will that all of my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my death as convenient for my herein after named Executor to do so. Second: I give devise and bequeath to my four daughters Laura Underwood, Emma John, Mattie Arthur and Katie Burgess the sum of one dollar each to be paid to them out of my personal Estate after my deceased; Third: I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my property both real personal and mixed including my home place discribed as follows: The South east quarter of the North West quarter. The North fractional part of the North West of the South East quarter and the North fractional part of the South East of the South West quarter all in section thirteen (13) Township thirty-eight (38) Range eight (8) in Phelps Co. MO to my beloved wife Cyntha Jane Boeringer to have and to hold unto her and her heirs and assigns forever. Fourth: Reposing confidence in my friend William Lepper I hereby nominate constitute and appoint him Executor of this my last will and testament. John J. Boeringer. We the undersigned witnesses do hereby certify that we were present and saw John J. Boeringer the testator sign his name to the above and foregoing instrument of writing which he declared to us to be his last will and testament that we sign the same as witnesses in his presence and at his request and in the presence of each other. Witness our hands this 31st day of May A.D. 1909; J. C. Romine & D.A. Gray
