Obituary
C.M. Tweedy
Charles Marion Tweedy, son of William Franklin Tweedy and Katherine Gowan Tweedy was born at Bunker Hill, Ill., on Oct. 1, 1880, and died at his home, 1002 North Fourteenth street, Arkansas City, Aug. 10, 1945 at the age of 64 years, ten months and nine days.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leah Tweedy, one daughter, Mrs. Edith Rundle, one son, Charles Marion Tweedy, petty officer third class in the navy, three grandchildren, Kenneth, Ray Ralph and Vivian Rundle, one brother, Alfred Franklin Tweedy, of this city.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning, Aug. 14, at the Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin G. Michael of the Central Christian Church officiating. Interment was in Riverview cemetery.
