Death of Mrs. Berry Mobley
After an illness of several weeks Mrs. Callie Robinson Mobley, wife of Mr. Berry Mobley of Heath Springs, passed away last Friday afternoon at 6 o'clock. Mrs. Mobley was a daughter of the late William Robinson and was 54 years of age. She was married in 1882. Mrs. Mobley was a splendid type of Christian womanhood, devoted to her home, her church and her community. She was a consistent member of the Presbyterian church at Heath Springs and one of its most active workers. She was a leading spirit in every good work, a woman whose influence will long be felt. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children; Hannah, Maude, Emma, Jesse, Zeddie, Ganson and Harvey, and the following brothers and sisters; Zed L. Robinson, Mrs. Rebecca Hilliard, Mrs. W.D. Massey, Mrs. Julia Robinson and Mrs. W.J. Hammond.
She was laid to rest Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Old Salem graveyard, after funeral services conducted by her pastor, Rev. T.W. DeVane, assisted by Rev. J.W. H. Dyches of the Baptist church and Rev. Hugh R. Murchison of this place.
