Virginia Bird of Havana, Arkansas, died Sunday, May 23, 2004, in Havana. Ms. Bird was 61 years old. She was the owner of BB's Quickstop in Waveland, Arkansas; a homemaker; and a member of Magazine First Baptist Church.

Ms. Bird was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her husband: Butch Bird; a daughter: Nancy Vick, of Havana, Arkansas; two sons: Charlie Bird and Troyce Bird, both of Havana, Arkansas; her mother: Lucille Foreman, of Garden City, Kansas; two sisters: Karen Atkinson, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Lila Earl of Garden City, Kansas; three brothers: Charles Foreman, Alan Foreman, and Curtis Foreman, all of Garden City, Kansas; 5 grandchildren: 1 great-grandchild; other relatives; and a host of friends.

Funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at Magazine First Baptist Church. Ms. Bird was laid to rest at the Havana Cemetery in Havana, Arkansas, under the direction of Cornwell Funeral Home of Danville, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Hoover Willard, Butch Bowerman, Owen Yandell, Bruce Staton, Robert Matthews and Johnny Foster.
