V. Rosalie Lawson
V. Rosalie Lawson, 91, of Bruceton Mills (Mountain Dale Community), died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005, at her home.
The daughter of the late Staley G. and Lona Gay Hauger Reckart, she was born May 15, 1913, in Cuzzart, W.Va.
Rosalie is survived by two sons, Tommy Lawson, and wife, Anna Belle, of Kingwood, and Jackson P. Lawson of Cumberland, Md.; a daughter, Marion Nieman of Morgantown; two brothers, Dallas E. Reckart of Bruceton Mills, and Wayne Reckart of Bruceton Mills; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett P. Lawson, April 23, 2004; an infant brother, Dana Reckart; a granddaughter, Christa L. Lawson; and a sister, Glendine Savage.
Friends could be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, at the Carl R. Spear Funeral Home, Brandonville-Bruceton Mills.
Funeral services were conducted by Pastor Barry M. Adkins at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the funeral home.
Burial followed in the Parnell Cemetery, Cuzzart.
