Mary Lizzie Mattingly, 88, of Briarwood Nursing Home, died there Tuesday. She was the former Mary Lizzie Russell, a native of St. Mary. Survivors: two daughters, Janet Davis and Rosine Douthitt; a son, Joseph W. Mattingly; four sisters, Bridget Mattingly, Aline Brown, Eleanor Rawert and Ann Rawert; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 760 Eastern Parkway, with burial at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Charles Cemetery in St. Mary. Visitation at Nunnelley Funeral Home, 4327 Taylor Blvd., from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and at St. Charles Catholic Church in St. Mary after noon Saturday.
