MRS. FRANCES OLIVIA BAUER, Louisville, formerly of St. Mary's, died Monday, June 1, 2009, at Norton Suburban Hospital, Louisville. Born Oct. 18, 1912, in Marion County, Bauer was a retired Post Master at St. Mary's, Ky., Post Office and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by: her husband, John Baptist Bauer; parents, John Thomas and Mary Catherine Thompson Gault; and a brother, John Gault. Survivors include: a daughter, Mrs. Madonna (James) Senger of Shepherdsville; three grandson, James, John and Kevin Senger; three great-grandchildren, Annie and Gabriella Senger and T. J. Senger; and one sister, Mrs. Rita Mattingly of Lebanon. The funeral Mass was held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 5, at St. Charles Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Father John Lesousky and Father Ken Fortenor officiated. Pallbearers were Jimmy and Joe Mattingly and Jim, John, Kenny and Fred Browning. Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, was in charges of arrangements.
