Born in Charleston August 11, 1971, he was a son of William Alexander and Jerry Murray Spivey.
After Chris graduated from Middleton High School, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. He graduated basic training from Parris Island and served as a Corporal.
Chris was currently employed by Knights Redi-Mix. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame and USC Football as well as Widespread Panic and Dave Matthews Band. Chris enjoyed playing golf and will always be know for his sense of humor. He was a talented artist who loved to paint or even just build things out of Lego's with his son.
Surviving are his wife Julie Dean Spivey; a son, Jackson Spivey; two stepdaughters, Madisyn Durrett and Dyllan Buccy; his parents William and Jerry Spivey; two sisters, Pamela Spivey and Elizabeth Maguire and husband Michael; a brother, Marty Spivey and wife, Kimberly, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.
