Evelyn L. Snyder, 71, 41 Hewitt Rd., West Middlesex, Pa., died Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, at Shadyside Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Snyder was born Feb. 5, 1931, in North Mahoning Township, Indiana County, a daughter of the late Wilbur and Nellie J. (Crossman) Sheesley.
On Jan. 3, 1949, she married Robert James Snyder, Sr., who preceded her in death May 10, 1994.
She was a homemaker and a member of the United Methodist Church in West Middlesex.
Surviving relatives include, four daughters, Nancy Keso of Hermitage, Pa., Linda Snyder of Pittsburgh, Jamie Pair, of Bakersfield, Calif., and Janet Burnette of Aliquippa, Pa.; two sons, Boyd Snyder of Sharon, Pa., and Robert J. Snyder Jr., of West Middlesex; two sisters, Joyce Kerr of State College and Barbara Fisher of Hamilton, Pa.; three brothers, Byron Sheesley, Charles Sheesley and Robert Sheesley, all of Punxsutawney; 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a great-great- granddaughter, Caitlin Marie Bisbey.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, August 15, 2002, at the W. Wayne Cunningham Funeral Home, 3126 Main St., West Middlesex, Pa.
