MONTICELLO - Henry Clay Walters, 77, of Monticello, died Sunday at his home. He was a retired farmer.

He was a veteran of World War I and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Carrie Bell Tucker Walters; two sons, Marvin Walters of Texarkan and Bart Walters of McGehee; a daughter, MRs. Evanell Korn of California; a brother, Melton Walters of Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Pharr of McGehee, Mrs. Ethel Peacock of Dumas and MRs. Josie Ferguson of California; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Springs Baptist Church near here. Burial will be in Pleasant Springs Cemetery by Stephenson Funeral Home of Monticello.
