Clifton Coleman Hathorn, 60, Rt. 5, Huntsville, died Feb. 3 in Huntsville Memorial Hospital. Born March 11, 1920, at Charleston, he was the son of William Grover and Della Cook Hathorn. He was a member of the Springdale Peoples Mission Church, an automobile mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Chloe Easterling Hathorn of the home; two sons, Bobby Dale Hathorn and Steven David Hathorn of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Davis of Fayetteville and Miss Brenda Hathorn of the home; his stepmother, Mrs. Edna Hathorn of Kingston; five brothers, J.T. and Gary Hathorn of Springdale, Clyde Hathorn of Healdton, Okla., J.B. Hathorn of Kingston and Gene Hathorn of Cave Springs; five sisters, Mrs. Margaret Cocherell of Springdale, Mrs. Marie Barlett of North Little Rock, Mrs. Maxine Delaney of Chowchilla, Calif., Mrs. Ollie Jackson of Rollans, Mo., and Mrs. Peggy Jones of Springdale; and four grandchildren.

Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Brashear's Funeral Home, with the Rev. Vivan Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Whorton Creek Cemetery under direction of Brashears.
