Joseph Minnick, son of Joseph and Catherine Minnick, was born at Pleasant Plain, Ohio, November 15, 1855, and died January 27, 1920, aged sixty-four years, two months, and twelve days. He was one of a family of five; four brothers, Frank, James, Alonzo, and William Fitzwater, and a sister, Sarah.
He was united in marriage to Susan Burns, by Isreal Lundy near New Hope, Ohio. To this union were born five children; Myrtle, Frank, Lawrence, Harry and David, four of whom are living; Myrtle having preceded her father to the Great Beyond.
