Blair J. Davidson, 81, of Iron Mountain, Michigan, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2003, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.

He was born December 25, 1921, in Waupaca, WI, son of the late James Davidson and Fern (Shambeau) Davidson. Blair has been a resident of the area for most of his life and was a graduate of Kingsford High School, class of 1938. He married Beverly Cambray on October 16, 1943 in Ann Arbor, MI and recently celebrated their 59 wedding anniversary. Blair graduated from Ferris State University with a B.S. in accounting. He worked for Champion Inc. as an accountant and corporate officer for more than 50 years. Blair was an active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, where he served on many of the churches boards and committees. He was an active, longtime member of the Iron Mountain- Kingsford Kiwanis Club where he was a recipient of the George Hixson Award. He volunteered at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital for several years in Various Departments. He loved to walk, enjoyed the outdoors and camping. He loved his grandchildren.

Blair Davidson was survived by his wife Beverly Davidson; three sons, Gary (Diane) Davidson of Kingsford, James Davidson of Oswego, IL, and Stephen (Jan) Davidson of Iron Mountain; a brother, Clayton (Alice) Davidson of Flat Rock, North Carolina; two sisters, Delores Luba of Kingsford, and Joyce (Henry) London of Iron Mountain; eight grandchildren, Melissa (Scott) VanWolvelaere, Christine (Michael) Bruns, James Davidson Jr., Tanya (Gary) Koike, and Tiffany, Heather, Amber, and Chad Davidson; and five great grandchildren.
