James A. Dobson, 64, of Jupiter, Fla., was a resident of Jupiter for 38 years, coming from Riviera Beach, Fla. Prior to retirement, he was a jet test foreman with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. Mr. Dobson was a member of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church, BPOE 2469 of Jupiter Elks and Past Exalter Ruler, Moose Lodge of Jupiter, American Legion Post 271 of Tequesta. Mr. Dobson was a private pilot, an experienced woodworker, loved fishing, and enjoyed restoring old clocks and fly wheel engines. Survivors include his wife, Susan G. Dobson; one son, Eric (Sandra Preston) Dobson; one brother, Leonard (Yvonne) Mikell Jr.; and 2 nieces. Interment Turkey Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
