Miss Bishop Bride of Jerry Alexander

Miss Barbara Lee Bishop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Bishop, and Jerry Cecil Alexander, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Alexander, all of St. James, Mo., were married Thanksgiving afternoon at the First Christian Church of St. James, Rev. Fred R. Barber, pastor, officiated at the double ring ceremony in a setting of white chrysanthemums and lighted tapers, and afterward there was a reception at the Bishop home.

The bride wore an ivory satin gown and a queen's crown of alencon lace from which her veil was suspended. She held a bouquet of roses, chrysanthemums and orchids.

Miss Rose Mary Reeves was maid of honor; Miss Jean Smallwood, Miss Virginia Kroner, Miss Carrie Horn and Miss Jan McCoy, bridesmaids. James Dillon served as best man; Donald Schebaum, Donald Tipton, John Coats and Douglas Bullock were groomsmen. Ushers included James Glenn, John Harrison, Charles Burch and Jack Davis.

After a honeymoon in New Orleans, La., Mr. Alexander will take his bride to Rolla, Mo., to live.
