"Davis Services
"Funeral services for Mrs. Mary A. Dinnin Davis, 63, wife of James A. Davis of Toronto, who died at her home at 3:30 a. m., Saturday, will be held at 2:30 p. m., Tuesday at the home, 103 Seneca street, Toronto. David Calderhead, evangelist of North Carolina, who is now holding services at the Gaspel [sic] hall, where Mrs. Davis attended will officiate.
"She had been ill for two weeks. Mrs. Davis was born July 29, 1872 at Volcano, W. Va., and had lived in the Toronto district for the past 45 years. On May 11, 1889 she was married to Mr. Davis, who survives, and to this union nine children were born of which five are deceased. Other survivors include four children, Mrs. Arch Hayes, Mrs. Howard Barker, Elmer Davis and James, all of Toronto; one sister, Mrs. M. E. Davis of Toronto and three brothers, James Dinnin of Petroleum, W. Va., Frank and Charles of Wichita Falls, Texas. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren and five great grandchildren."
