Frank was born the son of the late Joe Frank and Lola Estelle Yarbrough Holderfield.He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 6, Moulton, Shriners, Order of the Eastern Star and Eagles Club. He was elected as an officer at the Grand Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents,his son, Frankie Lee Holderfield; and daughter, Virginia Ann Mitchell.One brother James Buford"Bill"Holderfield,Two sisters,Louise Holderfield Harvey,Lacy Lucille Holderfield Woods. Survivors include his wife, Ima Nell Riethmaier Holderfield; five sons, Hairl and Sarah Holderfield of Jasper, Charles and Judy Holderfield of Grant, Donnie and Julie Holderfield and Michael and Sherry Holderfield, both of Scottsboro, and Ronnie and Connie Williams of Decatur; five daughters, Patricia and Eddie Gray of Dutton, Christine and Jeff Lees of Columbia, Md., Mary Jo Murphy and Gwen Roberts, both of Larkinsville, and Vicky Hudson of Decatur; 17 grandsons, 22 granddaughters, 16 great-grandsons and 13 great-granddaughters, 2 great-great grandsons,1 great-great grand daughter
