Mabel, as she was called, was a piano teacher in Kansas city, Missouri. After her husband died she was left with 4 children. It is not known if she stayed in K.C. Mo or went back to Livingston County. Although there is a tombstone for her, her husband is not buried there.
Three of the children were put in a Orphanage in St, Louis Missouri due to her husband's membership in the Masons Organization as was their duty. It is believed she died of tuberculosis.
