Bethalto - Betty M. Ealey, 66, died at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993, at Carlinville Area Hospital.

Born June 5, 1927, in Alton, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Bevvie Hooper Harris.

A homemaker, she first married Jack Osborne, and he preceded her in death. She later married Nelson Ealey in 1968 in Alton. He died in April 1986.

Surviving are two daughters, Tina Huch of Wood River and Patricia Watts of Alton; two sons, Jack Osborne of Bethalto and Robert Osborne of Alton; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Verda Maul of Godfrey and Carol Harris of Wood River; and four brothers, John David Harris of Champaign, Richard Harris of Arizona, Kenneth Harris of Missouri and Terry Harris of Rolla, Mo.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Jacqueline and Rebecca Osborne.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elias-Smith Funeral Home in Bethalto. Funeral services are pending for Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
