Services were held Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls for Beverly Stoeckmann.
Officiating during the service was the Rev. John Christopherson and the Rev. David Johnson.
Honorary pallbearers were Bev's grandchildren: Matthew DeGroot and Melissa, Elizabeth Dannen and Ryan, Emily Sitter and Derek, Eryn Warne and Chad, Victor Warne, Logan Pederson, and Spenser Pederson.
Interment was held at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls.
Beverly June Nelson was born June 20, 1932 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Victor V. and Ethel (Larson-Jensen) Nelson.
She grew up in Sioux Falls attending Washington High School. She also attended the University of Sioux Falls.
Beverly was married to Cliff "Pete" Pederson in August of 1951.
She married Jim Stoeckmann on November 11, 1983 at First Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls.
The couple made their home in Lennox until moving to Sioux Falls one year ago. Beverly was a bookkeeper and had worked for Sullivan Inc. She owned and operated the With Love gift shop. She also worked at Western Printing and the Lennox School District. Beverly was an active member of First Lutheran Church where she served on the Media Board and many
Bible study programs. She served as an announcer for several media ministries. Bev served on the Lennox Library Board and was an avid reader. She loved sewing, boating,
visiting with friends and took great enjoyment in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by two siblings, brother, Holger "Bud" Nelson and sister Helen Adams.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Jim; children: Diane (Roger) DeGroot, Brookings, Karen (David) Wame, St. Cloud, MN, Kristi Pederson, Omaha and Jonathan (Debbie) Pederson, Sioux Falls; step-children: James

step-grandchildren; siblings: Lucille Hester, ID, Sydney (Audrey) Nelson, MN, and Don (Marge) Nelson, Sioux Falls as well as other relatives and a host of friends.
