Cynthia Diane Davenport, age 51, of Bushnell, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009 in Bushnell, Fla. Mrs. Davenport was born in Leesburg, Fla., and was a life long resident of Sumter County. Mrs. Davenport was a housewife and Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Clyde Leslie Davenport (10/9/2009). Surviving are her two sons, Kevin Leslie Davenport of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla., Brian Clayton Leslie Davenport of Bushnell, Fla.; two step-sons, Robert Leslie Davenport of Chile, David Leslie Davenport of Fort Bragg, N.C.; three brothers, Gerald Maddox, Eddie Maddox and Ronnie Maddox, all of Webster, Fla., and seven grandchildren. Funeral services for Cynthia Diane Davenport will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at Purcell Funeral Home, Bushnell, Fla. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. Friends may call from 4-7:00 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009 at the Purcell Funeral Home.
