Rose Eleanor Adams MacDougall is my great grand aunt. She was born in upstate New York - the headstone says 1876 but her baptismal record says 1875. Her parents were John Adams and Katharine Anny Johnson.
Her father John is also buried in this cemetery but her mother Katharine is buried in Albany Rural Cemetery in Albany County, NY. She had three siblings - Maria "Rita" Belle Adams (my great grandmother), Alvene "Allen" Adams and Katharine "Kitty" Adams. Both Rita and Allen are buried back in NY but Kitty is buried in the same lot as Rose in this cemetery.
Sometime between the 1910 and 1920 Federal census, Rose and her widowed father John moved to Los Angeles, California along with her married sister Kitty Adele Adams Hallenbeck (husband Harris).
Rose married *Arthur Reynold MacDougall on March 3, 1920 at St. Paul's Cathedral in Los Angeles. They are listed as proprietors of a restaurant in several records. Her father John Adams lived with Rose and her husband until his death in 1938. Rose and Arthur both died in 1954, just a few weeks apart. Arthur is also buried here. They had no children.

unknown Malone (born in Ireland).
