"Ralph W. Simpson, 58, Shelton, died Wednesday, July 2, 1986, in Seattle. He was born Jan. 9, 1928, in Calument, Minn., and moved to Shelton in 1952, where he was a member of the Shelton Valley Grange. His wife, Dolores, died in 1985.
Survivors include three sons, Marvin of Potlatch, and Lon and Dwight, both of Shelton; two daughters, Renee Huston and Rebecca Hutchins, both of Shelton; his mother, Eva Simpson Barney of Shelton; two brothers, Joe and Leroy, both of Shelton; five sisters, Joyce Olson, Eva Hobbs and Kathleen Kennedy, all of Shelton, Delores Sandstrom in Maine, and Mary Ellen Swenson in Alaska; and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial Mass for Mr. Simpson will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 5, in St Edward's Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Feeney as celebrant." The Olympian (Olympia, Washington), July 4, 1986
